Consent Management
DMS uses a self-hosted consent interface based on vanilla-cookieconsent and bundled with the application. This consent tool does not load an external cookie-consent service.
Your choice is stored in the first-party “dms_consent” cookie. It does not contain an IP address, full user agent or fingerprinting data. DMS does not currently create an additional server-side consent log.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through “Privacy settings” in the footer. On withdrawal, Google consent signals are immediately set to denied and removable first-party cookies for the affected optional category are deleted.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR where storage is required to meet statutory accountability duties and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the orderly management of consent preferences.
12
Google Tag Manager
The DMS platform uses Google Tag Manager to manage optional analytics and marketing tags. Before you make a choice, Google Consent Mode sets analytics and advertising storage to “denied” and Google Tag Manager is not loaded.
Google Tag Manager is loaded only if you accept analytics or marketing. Google Analytics tags may run only with analytics consent, while advertising or conversion tags may run only with marketing consent. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
13
Meta Pixel
The DMS platform may use Meta Pixel through Google Tag Manager. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Meta Pixel is used for advertising measurement, conversion measurement, audience creation and campaign optimisation.
Meta Pixel is activated only after marketing consent. The GTM configuration must require the marketing signal supplied by DMS. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, consent under German rules governing access to terminal devices and storage of cookies or similar technologies.
You can withdraw consent at any time through the DMS privacy settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before withdrawal.
Meta may receive information such as visited pages, browser and device information, referrer information and event data. DMS does not intentionally transmit account names, email addresses, answers or other directly identifying registration data through Meta Pixel.
Depending on the processing infrastructure and applicable transfer mechanisms, Meta may process data outside the EU/EEA. Further information is available in Meta’s privacy policy.
14
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights
The DMS platform includes Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights only after analytics consent. Their scripts are not loaded before the first consent.
These services help evaluate technical performance and aggregate use of the platform. DMS does not configure analytics cookies for these services.
If analytics consent is withdrawn, further events are blocked by the supported before-send filters. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
